Dave has been playing since the tender age of seven, and now has over twenty five years of performing, recording and touring experience.
Having been the regular drummer for 'The Anti-Nowhere league' (www.myspace.com/animalanwl) since 2005, he has toured and performed all over the world several times over, completing two extensive tours of America, Australia and New Zealand as well as regular shows all over Europe and the UK.
On top of commitments to one.8.e studio, the Anti-Nowhere League and depping/session work, Dave also plays for top rock/alternative band '4th Wall' (www.4thwall.net), with Paul Cheese (guitar teacher). They have just recorded their second album which is due for release in 2010.
After graduating from London's top drum school 'Drumtech' (www.drum-tech.co.uk) in 2002, Dave opened one.8.e studio. Pulling from his experiences playing in all types of bands, from Marching band and brass band to rock and punk bands, he set about creating a teaching system utilising progress sheets and lesson/practice plans to make sure every student could get the very best out of their lessons
Using the nationally acclaimed Drumsense (www.drumsense.com) programme, Rockschool (www.rockschool.co.uk) grades and his own material, he has seen many young drummers develop into great musicians playing in bands or going on to further education in drumming. His book "Drumsense - Music Reading for Drummers" is now one of the 4 key Drumsense books used by teachers all over the world.
