Drum lessons are taught in a fully equipped air conditioned and soundproofed studio. There are 2 drum kits used so that the student and teacher can both play together, and the use of a powerful Mackie PA system means that students can play along with backing tracks or their favourite songs. The option of being able to record drum tracks along with backing tracks is also available.

  Lessons are given by Drumsense (www.drumsense.com) registered teachers, using the Drumsense programme mixed with in house material. Teachers have a vast amount of experience in both performing and teaching and are members of the Musicians Union (www.musiciansunion.org.uk). Level based progress sheets and lesson/practice plans ensure developments in all areas of playing at every stage. Playalong material is used as often as possible to make sure lessons are fun while also  improving basic timekeeping skills.

Grades are also available for those interested using Rockschool grades 1-8 accredited by Trinity.

One.8.e studio is the local drum grading centre for Rockschool, so exams are held at the studio throughout the year.

 There is also a waiting area for any students arriving early, or parents wishing to stay at the studio while their child has a lesson.

Tea, coffee and juice is available free of charge.
