One.8.e studio opened in 2003 as a drum tuition and band rehearsal studio, but over the years it has developed into the Tunbridge Wells Music School offering drum lessons, guitar lessons, bass lessons, vocal lessons and keyboard lessons all on a one to one basis 7 days a week.
Lessons
- Fully equipped air conditioned and soundproofed drum studio. Fully equipped guitar and bass room.
- 2 drum kits so student and teacher can both play together.
- Powerful PA system so students can play along with backing tracks or their favourite songs.
- Option to record drum tracks along with backing tracks available.
- Teachers have vast amount of experience performing and teaching and are members of the Musicians Union.
- Level based progress sheets and lesson/practice plans sure development in all areas of playing at every stage.
- Playalong material is often used to make sure lessons are fun whilst also improving basic timekeeping skills.
- Grades available using Rockschool grades 1-8 accredited by Trinity.
- One8e studio is the local grading centre for Rockschool.
Waiting Room and Facilities
- There is a waiting area with a Gamecube and DVD player. You can also help yourself to tea and coffee.
- There is an outside area with a table and chairs with views over the Sussex countryside.
