" Why do I like One8e studio? A good question.
Well after many years of racing cars as a hobby, and then a couple of years without a hobby, I was bored watching telly, mowing the lawn etc, so I thought what can I do in my spare time.
I then remembered when I was a teenager in the dim & distant past that I wanted to be a drummer in a rock band.
So after much thinking about it & searching on the interweb thingy I came across One8e studio, I thought their web site looked pretty impressive even if Dave does look a bit scary HA HA!.
Anyway I phoned & spoke to Dave & told him I thought I was probably too old to learn to play drums, but being the thoroughly nice bloke that he is he said you're never too old, so I booked a lesson there & then and I'm glad I did.
The studio is really well run & the guys are a great bunch who really know their stuff, they will teach you at your pace whether you want to be a professional musician or just play for fun.
I'm having great fun learning to play & when I've had a bad day at work it's a great stress reliever.
So I would say to anyone thinking about learning to play whether you're Eight or Eighty,  DON'T THINK ABOUT IT,  BOOK A LESSON TODAY! what have you got to loose?.
The only thing I don't like about One8e is it's a 45 minute drive from where I live, but that's life!".

" I have been learning to play the drums at One8e near Tunbridge Wells for about 5 years now, and the teaching is excellent. I always come out from my lesson knowing a lot more than when I went in and the equipment is superb and very professional. The teachers are always on time and encouraging - my current teacher even came all the way to my school, with a drum kit, to help me with my GCSE coursework pierce. I cannot recommend it highly enough".

"Jem started drumming lessons at One8e when he was 7. He was a bit unsure of himself then but the teachers helped him to become truly good at something, which has given him tremendous self confidence. They understand children. They understand musicians.  The lessons are properly planned and my son goes along perfectly happily each week. I don't even have to nag him to practice. He gets a sheet each week of what he's covered and what he has to work on - its very well organised and structured.  He's been brought right up to distinction standard before sitting any exams, and has flown through at each level - he's Grade 5 now and still only 12.   The guys here are more than just music teachers - they're friends and mentors. They helped us choose the right kit and gave Jem good advice when it came to doing drumming with groups outside the studio.  We can't fault it - One8e is a one-off."
